For week 20 of my 52 years celebration, from around 1993: me in a comfy rocking chair in my bedroom. #ThrowbackThursday #52years

The answer to today’s #WhatsItWednesday question: it’s a limited-edition “iCEO” plush toy (mint in box) of a certain mercurial fruit company CEO.

I just can’t resist; another couple of cute pictures of Paladin and his fuzzy toe beans, in his new nest on top of a shelf in my office. 🐈

Ted Lasso TV series 📺 #MediaMonday

A delightful fish-out-of-water comedy series on Apple TV+ about an American football coach moving to the UK to coach an English football league. We just started a rewatch of season 1 in preparation for season 2 in July.

Another couple of funny pics of Paladin on my lap. 🐈

I had a relaxing day in bed yesterday, enjoying a second-vaccination fever with a high score of 102.2°F, which broke just before bedtime. This morning I feel totally fine, other than some mild lingering arm soreness. Not a big deal at all. Get vaccinated! 💉🦠🌡🛌

Yay, here comes the vaccination fever! I think I’ll spend the rest of the day in bed. Totally worth it, though; I’m sure I’ll feel better by tomorrow, and won’t have to worry about becoming unexpectedly dead from COVID. Get your vaccinations, people! 💉🦠🌡🛌🦸🏼

For week 19 of my 52 years celebration, a selfie from my early 20s (before they were called selfies). Fun fact: this picture was the first time Jenn saw me (we met online in 1993), and yet she wanted to continue the relationship. #ThrowbackThursday #52years

I just got my second COVID-19 vaccination today (Moderna), at a drive-thru clinic again. Less busy than the first time, no waiting to get the shot. Easy, and now I have superpowers! Well, in two weeks when I’m “maxxinated”; the best birthday present. Such a relief. 💉🦠

So nice of us to install a salad bar for the deer! Here's a GIF of one sampling the flavors, before Jenn chased her off. 🌱🦌

On the homestead blog: yesterday I evicted the chickens from our fenced vegetable garden, and prepared it for planting — which Jenn subsequently did. 🌱
